About me

I am a new graduate from the University of British Columbia and am currently looking for a full-time position as a software engineer/developer. I am thrilled by technical challenges and am easily immersed in work. I have a year of experience working as a web developer in the industry. I also have experience in designing software systems and developing on the front-end and back-end. Check out some of my projects!

Web Developer Co-op

I was responsible for building and maintaining websites using PHP and WordPress. Some features included integration of external REST API's. On the front-end, I used Bootstrap to ensure the websites are mobile responsive. I designed and developed the back-end system of an e-commerce website, which resulted in a user-friendly dashboard for retail administrators. Over the span of a year, I maintained more than 50 websites. Maintenance includes fixing bugs, implementing new features, and tweaking the user interface. Completed tasks under minimal supervision.

Location-based Shopping

A web application that helps local rug retailers connect with their customers. Rug vendors may list their products and customize their store fronts, while customers are able to submit purchase orders. Additionally, there is an admin dashboard where vendor applications are managed.

A web application that helps users log and track their exercises.

Discord Bot

A bot for Discord that allows users to make song requests via commands. Using the Riot Games API, users are also able to view game statistics for a specified user.

An Android application to quickly view information about the latest, upcoming, top rated, and most popular movies. Movie data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDb).
